1. Overview
DegyBot ("the Bot") is operated by the Katadegy community (Degy Crew). This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can request its deletion.
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the Bot's features. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
2. Data We Collect
The Bot stores only what is required to function. All data is stored locally on our server and is never shared with third parties.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect
- Message content (except to check for links when the link filter is active)
- Voice data or audio
- Email addresses, passwords, or payment information
- Browsing history or data outside of Discord
- Any data from users who have not interacted with the Bot
4. How We Use Your Data
- Warning records are used to track moderation history and trigger automatic actions (e.g. timeout after 3 warnings)
- Twitch links are used to assign Discord roles when you follow or subscribe on Twitch
- Configuration data is used to persist server settings between bot restarts
5. Data Retention
- Warning records — retained until deleted by a server moderator using /clearwarnings
- Twitch links — retained until you remove the link using /twitchlink entfernen
- Server configuration — retained while the bot is present in the server; deleted when the bot is removed
6. Your Rights
- Access — ask what data we hold about you
- Deletion — request deletion of your data at any time
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data

Data is stored locally on a private server. Access to raw data files is restricted to server administrators. We do not store sensitive credentials or payment information of any kind.
